Shiatsu is a form of therapeutic bodywork from Japan. It uses kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping, and stretching techniques and is made without oil through the light, comfortable clothing.
"Shiatsu" or "finger pressure." developed in Japan in 1900, the revival of traditional medicine therapies, including acupuncture, massage. ..Shiatsu is used in the medical treatment in the US.

What's Shiatsu?
Shiatsu 指圧 is a manual therapy developed in Japan through a synthesis of Eastern and Western medical concepts, uses mankind’s most ancient medical tools –the human hand and the human heart­ ­-to treat the patient using a holistic approach that stimulates the body’s own natural self-healing powers to correct imbalances and effect a cure from within.
Shiatsu therapists can detect variations subtle responses in the person’s condition and then apply pressure on the Shiatsu points. Those pressures have a deep effect on the inner body so it can improve physical and mental well-being. Shiatsu therapy is based on a spirit of kindness and compassion.
Contraindications for Shiatsu.
Locally:

·       Shingles
·       Fungus i.e. nail fungus, athlete's foot
·       Varicose veins
·       Inflammation
General:
·       High Fever
·       Intoxication (drugs or alcohol)
·       Contagious diseases, such as, chicken pox, measles, severe flu or shingles
·       High risk pregnancies (former miscarriages, IVF in the first trimester, ill health or hemorrhaging)
·       Uncontrolled diabetes
·       Severe osteoporosis
·       Severe nerve damage
·       Blood cancers, like leukemia
Magnetic Therapy
Magnets are usually made from metals (such as iron) or alloys (mixtures of metals, or of a metal and a nonmetal). Magnetic therapy using static category (unmoving objects such as bracelets, rings…) to ease the pain.
Clinical application of magnetic therapy is healing bone, muscle joints, cutting pain (edema)

Effect of acupressure vs reflexology
